Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for residents in accordance with their interests and abilities - Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed - Collaborate with the activity director to develop and maintain an activity calendar - Lead group activities and encourage resident participation - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress - Provide emotional support and counseling to residents on aging issues - Assist with scheduling and coordinating transportation for outings and appointments
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting - Knowledge of aging issues and the ability to provide counseling and support to residents - Familiarity with scheduling management and coordination of activities - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with residents of varying abilities and backgrounds - Ability to work effectively as part of a team We offer competitive compensation, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth.
