Responsibilities:
Set up and operate production machine tools Select and mount appropriate tooling for machining operations Determine the appropriate feed and operating speeds for efficient machining Perform cut off, trimming, counter sinking, drilling, and other machining operations Verify the dimensional accuracy of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining requirements Utilize shop math skills to perform calculations and ensure accurate machining processes Transfer computer files to the numeric controller to initiate machining operations Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper functioning Maintain accurate documentation of machining operations, including production logs and inspection records Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical diagrams Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Job Type:
