Sales Support Specialist
The Sales Support Specialist has responsibility for performing various duties associated with multiple departments including Sales & Customer Service.
Sales Support - This position will be expected to promote internal customer service, by supporting the Sales team in its efforts to acquire new clients and promote prosperous relationships with our existing client base. This may include trade show data management, credit processing, contract management and problem resolution on a timely basis.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Follow up on Sales Leads Direct sales leads to appropriate member of sales team
Answer questions about product, qualities available and appropriate applications
Forwards samples by entering request, arranging shipment, notifying customer
Maintain client database and prospective data base by inputting customer profiles and updates
Ensure all client information is correct,
Initial Credit application processing Handle billing issues with accounting
Trade show data management Coordinate travel arrangements,
Trade show coordination, sample and booth collateral management
Organize Events, conferences and other meetings
Meet customers and provide plant tour
Skills:
Must be self-directed, professional outgoing personality with the ability to work within a high- stress, fast-paced environment, which sometimes requires overtime. Maintain the ability to provide outstanding customer service, reasoning skills for problem resolution. Possess a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task without losing focus. Data Entry Skills, Reporting Skills and Administrative Writing Skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
